Hello- My partner has been ill with Chronic Lyme Disease for possibly years. She had a positive test like 10 yrs ago in college in Upstate NY ( but was told it was a false positive).
We are new to the Raleigh/Durham area and need to find a knowledgeable doc that will treat her.
She has no insurance and hasn't been able to work in almost 2 years. We found one doc that recently started a course of 3 oral antibiotics- and she is getting much worse.(which I know happens)
We need to know that she is getting the most through care possible and probably needs a specialist. I have heard that oral antibiotics may not be enough.
