Hi, Im pretty sure I've had lyme for 10 yrs. I was tested then and it was neg. 3 yrs. later I was diagnosed w/fibromyalgia. 3-4 yrs. ago found a tick on leg and was tested again, and the tick, I was pos. the tick neg.?? did 3 wks. antibiotics. symptoms come and go so I assumed its the fibro. didnt know they are connected. About 4 wks. ago things started getting out of control. symptoms are unbearable, starting to miss work.right now dr. has me on a heart monitor. symptoms- chest tightness,heartburn,shortness of breath,pain in legs and back,stomach pain,low grade fever and chills,dizzy,fibro fog,eyes hurt and burn,ect....

Dr. Burrascano's most recent "Diagnostic Hints and Treatment Guidelines for Lyme and Other Tick Borne Illnesses" @ http://www.ilads.org/burrascano_0905.html suggests that you discuss with your doctor continuing treatment until you are symptom free for 2 months.
