Oh my - I typed a whole post about myself and didn't post a subject.
Now I've lost the whole thing.. Im just too tired and hurty to retype it all
It was a decent post too! I think
Real quick cuz Im so needing to go take meds and be done with pain for the day...
I have been sick for at least 12+ years. thinking I may have contracted lyme 4-5 years before that.
I was dx with FMS in 2005, dx with CFS/EBV/CMV and more a few months later.
Went thru treatments... nothing helped.
We had the Western Blot done and I was dx positive.
Two other docs later concurred although one no longer is working (retired) and the other proved to be partial to his own alternative treatment despite what he said when I first went there.
Stopped seeing all docs for all of it as of last May.
Recent pain beyond what I have ever suffered in my knees, kneck, hips and even feet has forced me to begin again.
I am now staring at Lyme in the face, as I had been focused on FMS mostly all this time.
Had x rays done today by a non lyme lit facility. Hopefully it won't show arthritis.
I am hoping but not hopeful to find a llmd here in CO.
I am a very blessed homemaker (lol-- yeah right... try homedweller)wife and mother... or so I am in title.
My biggest grief and pain is that I cannot be the mother/wife I long to be and once was.
I look forward to getting to know others here and learning to navigating the site!
and now for a funny:
I came downstairs on Sunday to bring my lil dog down (he won't come down if I don't), went to the kitchen to grab a snack and sat down at the PC.
About 45 minutes later I hear from upstairs--
"WHAT the.... WHY is the SHOWER RUNNING!"
oops
so much for a real quick post again LOL!

Betty's POSTING GUIDELINES
When you post or reply, please break up your solid, continuous block text welcome to the board! many of us have neuro lyme where we can NOT read long solid block text and be able to comprehend and read it as is.
please edit your post by CLICKING PAPER/PENCIL ICON to right of your name. that opens up BOTH subject line and body text.
now please break up your WORDY SENTENCES into one sentence paragraphs. Then hit ENTER KEY ``THREE`` after each paragraph; we need that space for comprehension.
if you are NOT a wordy person, you can do 2 or 3 total ok. do this for your entire post.
NOTE: you do NOT have to use "", just show the name of person you are responding to, and then type your comment.
IF you need to use "", PLEASE DELETE "BOLD" CODES so it's regular type text we read vs. the DARK, HARSH/PAINFUL BOLDING.
specifically, delete the first 4 characters of 2ND LINE of a ""
[QB] just delete these 4 characters, and BOLDING is GONE! my eyes will really appreciate that; it's one very bad side effect of my having lyme for 38.5 years!! xox
then go to left hand corner and mark box to receive ALL REPLIES, and click EDIT SEND
we thank you for helping us; otherwise, we will SOB, SCROLL ON BY, since we can't read to help you. If I see posts like this, I SOB them; to hard on me.
LYMETOO'S DR. C'S EXPLANATION OF WESTERN BLOT TESTING!
PRINT THIS OFF the full explanation, and then CIRCLE the numbers that coincide with your positives, IND! That will explain your no. results!
