Hello,
My husband tested positive for lyme just before Christmas and decided to see LLMD S.B. in West Chester after his general practicioner only gave him two weeks of dioxycycline. This doctor put him on Cipro and another antibiotic I can't recall off the top of my head to tackle co-infections, but said they'd need to go to something different to handle a parasite.

However, this new doctor has canceled and forgotten to put his appointment in the schedule twice and is not returning phone calls, so I think we need to find a new doctor.

We live in Pine Grove, PA, 17963 in Schuylkill County and are willing to travel 2 1/2 hours to find a reputable LLMD. The last doctor we saw charged an initial visit fee of $600, the labs were mostly covered by our insurance.

Are there any reputable LLMD we can see within 2 1/2 hours of my location, do you know if they accept insurance, and if not, do you know what they charge for initial and ensuing visits?

I've heard mixed reviews about Dr. B. in Colmar. Does anyone know of a Dr. S. in Bloomsburg?

Thanks a lot. We're new to this and appreciate any help we can get.
