If anyone knows of a good lyme Dr in Manhattan that would be great. Is what I really need is a follow up bloodtest, on my last Western Blot test I had the following result directly from my another bloodest, this is from the nurse.
" The western blot is divided in two categories IGG (antiboties against past infection) and IGM (antibotides against present infection). According to the CDC (center for disease control), a positve test is having 5 out of 10 bands positive in IGG or 2 out of 3 positive in IGM. You have 1 band positive in IGG (41kd), and 1 band positive in IGM (23kd). It's possible it's falselly positive or you were exposed and your immune system doesn't recognize it"
If anyone knows where I can get this follow up bloodtest in NYC I would really appreciate it, and hopefully if this is lyme I can contribute my thoughts to help someone else afterwards.

Lyme is a clinical diagnoses, meaning based on symptoms. Testing is less than 30% accurate and mostly worthless. If you think you have Lyme you need to see the proper doctor. I will PM you some information.

People seeking doctors might be able to get help from their state online information and support group. Nearly 3,400 people belong to state groups. Some of the groups are small but more than 20 of them have 50 or more people and seven have over 100.
The groups are moderated and you have to apply. Most don't allow doctor names, but once on the group, you can ask for doctors in a certain area and ask people to email you privately.
This explains the medical politics around Lyme, and why you need an ILADS-educated or ILADS-member LLMD (and there are also some ILADS-member LL NDs (naturopathic doctors):
ILADS The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) provides a forum for health science professionals to share their wealth of knowledge regarding the management of Lyme and associated diseases. www.ilads.org
They will also send you a ``test kit'' with their required form, all the test vials, & box to ship it in. Be sure to download Igenex's required form. MD, DO, ND, AC, DC are all fine** must sign, date, and show diagnosis code on there why he's ordering the test.
Optional tests include: co-infection panel for your area of country and PCR whole blood
Igenex is pre-pay/out of network for most insurances. If you are on medicare, Igenex will file the paperwork & it's free to you.
