I posted a few days ago and I do have an appointment for myself (in Cali) next week but was just chatting with my sister and have convinced her to go see an LLMD too. I'm pretty sure my entire family became infected wtih Lyme/co-infections 20 years ago when we were growing up in rural PA.

My sister's main symptoms are extreme migraines, severe muscle spasms in neck/shoulders, and fatigue, plus other neuro stuff.

Sister was bitten years ago and the tick tested positive for Lyme. She was given 1 month of doxy at the time but it seems that may not have done the trick.

Again, she is Raleigh/Durham area but would be willing to travel a bit to see someone exceptional.

Thank you!

Symptoms since age 4
IGM positive Western Blot (Bb)
PCR positive Spiro Stat (Anaplasma)
Suspect babs and bart

Hi, lajamur--Sent you a PM and hope the information is going to be helpful for your sister!

Your sister was way UNDERtreated!! She needed several MONTHS of abx, not WEEKS!!

Let us know if you need anything else, we're here for you and her! [group hug] [kiss]

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
