Can someone help me find a compassionate literate doctor in the Southeast? I live in Mississippi. I am a 43 year old mother of three. I have been sick a very long time. I have occasional strange rashes and terrible pain all over, especially my neck. I had Bell's Palsy a few years ago while pregnant and had facial paralysis for a couple weeks. I have had bouts of arteritis and inflamed lymph nodes off and on. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, interstitial cystitis.... and thought to perhaps have Lupus (high ANA & sedrate), MS(clear brain MRI but they would not do my spine), connective tissue disease, different times and by different docs. No real definetive diagnosis and no real help. Tried all kinds of name it....-antidepressants...muscle relaxers,
anti-seizure meds....etc...etc. Only almost NO HELP for the PAIN!
There has to be a REAL explanation for all of this! Desperate.... Can anyone help?

Hi, [hi] alohagirl and WELCOME to our lyme site. We're glad you came to us for help.

I have sent you a private message (pm), click on the flashing envelope.

Also, check out our great "Medical Questions" forum where you can ask all the questions you might have and our wonderful, knowledgeable members will answer them. Just read some of the threads and you'll see just how informative they are!

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
