I have been suffering from some undiagnosed symptoms since July 2009. It started with terrible flu symptoms and a trip to the ER. Then it progressed into Pneumonia symptoms and a chronic cough.
In November I was diagnosed with work stress induced anxiety and depression and missed 1 month of work.
It then became fatigue, body aches, depression, anxiety, brain fog and was diagnosed with Fibro in January. It then progressed to heart racing, tremors, dizzyness, mixing up words, forgetting what I was saying, taking very long time to complete tasks, and sleeping only 2 or so hours per night.
With lack of improvement from supplements, anti-anxiety, sleeping pills, etc, etc I returned to the Doctor. I have finally been diagnosed with Lyme Disease after a whole host of blood work ruled out RA, lupus, thyroid etc etc.
I have been taking my antibiotics for only 2 days, but fear the worse because it went over 8 months undiagnosed.
I love my Dr., who is in Londonderry NH, but I am in the process of moving to Naugauck, CT (near Waterbury). I would like to find someone who is more of a specialist so I can improve my health.
This is currently affecting my job as I have missed many days and have trouble completing tasks. My boss thinks I am faking it and often retaliates with passive agressive behaivors when I return from a sick day even when I have a Dr. note.
Any advice you can give would be soooo helpful.
