I live in the Cincinnati area and have tested positive for Lyme after 14 years of misdiagnoses. I have a holistic DO that recommends a whole list of alternative treatments that will cost between $15-20,000 with no specific guarantee. My health is so declined that I haven't worked much in 2 years so I can't afford that route. He did give me a script for 30 day doxycycline but told me to find a LLMD. I started taking the doxycycline yesterday because I know from experience that it will make me feel better but I need a doc quick. I know of a doctor in PA. Has anyone been to him and can you recommend him? I would prefer someone closer but "have Lyme will travel". Thank you.

Please go to the pencil/pad icon to the right of your name and edit the Drs. name you posted, we don't use Drs. names on the open forum--only by private messages.
Please use only the last name initial. And, go to "Seeking a Dr." page and read the 2nd one down---New Members! Please read regarding posting! This will explain some rules. Thank you.

Welcome! I'm also in the Cincinnati area. No one here who treats Lyme aggressively with abx. I flew to NY for treatment.
BTW, as Siciliano said, we don't use doctor's names on the board. I edited your post. Please look over the post at the top of the medical forum which explains why we don't use doc's names.
