My son was treated for Lyme last summer (his knee was quite swollen and he tested very positive for Lyme) Four weeks of doxy seemed to do it...the knee went down after 4-5 days.
His OTHER knee swole up 3 weeks ago...he had it drained and is on doxy again but it is not going down. His pediatrician suggested Mass General Infectious Disease folks....but they suggest seeing a rheumatologist first.
He's 19...any suggestions?
Thanks for all your help,
Z
