I sent a PM and the web site for a very good LLMD in Seattle.

Especially in Oregon (where lyme is sort of illegal), very few NDs know anything about lyme at all (same as with MDs). Some NDs THINK they know about lyme but do not at all. I've been very disappointed by several over the years.

However, there are a couple of good LL NDs in Oregon, a few are ILADS-educated.

Still, I would opt for the LLMD in Seattle if I could (or a LLMD in California). The LLMDs seem to have much more experience and breadth of knowledge. And, those LLMDs in Seattle and California all pretty much get the need for support measures.

I also sent the website for the Oregon Lyme Disease Network in case you've not yet made contact with them.

Good luck.

Hi, [hi] kaye65 and WELCOME to our lyme site. We're glad you came to us for help.

I have sent you a private message (pm) also.

Also, check out our great "Medical Questions" forum where you can ask all the questions you might have and our wonderful, knowledgeable members will answer them. Just read some of the threads and you'll see just how informative they are!

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
