Same old story. Flu-like symptoms about 10 months ago. My physician diagnosed it as a viral infection. Over the months, the symptoms changed & worsened -- tingling & burning in hands & feet, carpal tunnel, fascitis, swollen lymph gland (chronic), fatigue, mental fatigue. I get tired just talking about it. I did a Western blot & am waiting on results. Meanwhile, a doctor did prescribe me 21 days of Doxyc, and I have a few days left in the round. Symptoms are much better but I'm scared (after reading lots of testimonies) that the disease will be chronic & I'm thinking I'd better quickly line up a LLMD. A North Florida lyme advocate referred me to Dr. C in FL. Am wondering if that is a good recommendation & if there is anyone closer to me. I'm in SE Georgia, near Savannah.

Hey, I'm about an hour from you. I haven't have much luck finding an LLMD (a good one anyway) within like 5 hours from here.
Good Luck!!! Let me know if you find a GREAT one out here.

Do contact the support group for information. And tell them if you were bitten in GA, they are collecting case stats.
