Dr. R. MD, ND is an experienced LLMD in Southern Ohio . She has been trained through the ILADS program to diagnose and treat tick borne infections using an integrative approach. She does not take medical insurance, but her rates are reasonably low at around $100 per hour. You can contact her at 937-444-4385 or at www.the-healthy-path.org .

Is it safe to be posting this information on a public forum? Her name can be obtained by a single click, even if not on this board. Maybe she did give permission, but the rules of lymenet are there to protect doctors and private means can be used to pass on the contact info.

I removed the first initial of her name, but you're right, the info is on the website. We do allow links to websites. The only reason I left the phone number is because it's readily available on the website as well.

What part of Southern Ohio is it? I am currently driving to Hermitage PA for my appointments. God forbid any of these LLMD's start a practice in Columbus, Ohio where there is not a single human being who knows a thing about this disease other than the infected people who have to live with it every single day.
I did not know how much to post but thanks for editing the post for me. Seems there are a few LLMD's now in Ohio. I think there was a post awhile back on another one near Toledo?
Seekhelp, You can always contact her and ask all the questions you need to and see if she is a good fit for you. BTW---My hubby and younger son see her now.
Clint, I too wish there was someone closer to our home area. Hope you are getting good tx in PA?
Tick Battler, you are welcome, just trying to give folks some more options.

Any LLMD's around Toledo? I am a university student and really need to find a new opinion on my persistent malaise. Any help ASAP (before the holiday season) would be great!
Thanks

It was great to read the Ohioans active on the forum. Exciting news about the new Cincinatti Lyme doctor. I had no idea. We will still drive to Elgin, Illinois for now. The Toledo doctor is actually in Maumee, Ohio. He was trained through ILADS over the summer. I do not know of anyone who has seen him. I live 10 minutes from his office and he lives in my town, but we needed an experienced doctor in May who could handle my complicated sick child. Didn't know then that 2 more of us were infected. What a road we are on! Take care everyone.

I have a friend who may see the LLMD near you. I will let everyone know how she likes him when she goes.
