Hello, Like most people here, I've been dealing with an ailment for a while now (almost 6 months). I ran a triathlon back in May and now I can barely exercise at all, and have gained a bunch of weight. I have a lot of pain all over my body that comes and goes practically without reason. I've been to a ton of doctors and specialists and other than having a million blood tests have found little of value, except that I have very low testosterone. Despite the negative Lyme tests I have heard that they are woefully inaccurate, so I should keep at it, since nothing else makes much sense.
Since I am at a dead-end with all of my other doctors, I am in the market for a lyme doctor. I only know of two: Dr. L, and Dr. J, which is a pretty long drive. I've heard mixed things about Dr. L, and plus she doesn't take insurance so the costs will be massive. Does anyone know of others in the area who might be more wallet-friendly, and who are very good? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
