Hello Everyone,

After feeling like my body has been deteriorating for the last few months, I was recently told by a doctor they suspect I have LD. All of my symptoms match up and I'm now waiting to take the test and get my results. I'm trying to find a LLMD in Colorado - I live in Boulder but can travel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows how to speed up the referral process for getting in to see a doctor I would be so grateful to hear any advice or tips. My body feels like it's failing daily and the pain has gotten so great I can barely walk.

Grace,
Kelsey

I am in desperate need of a LLMD here in Colorado Springs. I was just in the hospital for 2 weeks and the doctor's in the hospital diagnosed me with Conversion Disorder and they said all the symptoms I am experiencing are all in my head. UGH!!

The most severe symptoms I experienced while I was in the hospital was 3 seizures along with paralysis on my left side of my face, arm, and leg. There are other symptoms I am experiencing now, but these were the most severe of them all.

I also told these "doctors" in the hospital that I am originally from PA and I had the typical bulls-eye rash 2x in the past 10 years. They kept telling me, "You are in CO, it doesn't happen here!" They just wouldn't listen to me.

I did get the name of a LLMD here in the Springs, but maybe because I am new to this and never had symptoms THIS severe, I was just shocked at the price to see this LLMD.

I'm unemployed at the moment, so the only money I have is my unemployment checks and seeing this doctor would take 2 unemployment checks and I still have rent and bills to pay. I just can't afford it.

I'm scared to death and I feel like I am an 80 year arthritic woman inside a 33 year old body. I'm sick as a dog and no one wants to listen or help me.

PLEASE any help, suggestions, names of doctors would be ever so grateful. I just want to get my life back and feel normal again, whatever "normal" is! [Frown]

Thank you for any help anyone can give me. I'm desperate.
