I live in SC and was wondering if any of you could go absolutely anywhere in the country who would you see and why?

I am tired of fooling around with orals and need to get serious and just want to see the most informed doctor in the country.

Please if you have any advice please PM me. Thanks for taking the time to answer!! Mookie

Dr. H. in New York state.

When Dr. Burrascano retired, I understand he sent all his patients to him, so that is the best recommendation you can get in my book.

Also, a number of people have told me in detail how he treats.

I got rid of this disease 6 years ago, with my 3rd lyme doctor. It was a doc who followed the Burrascano Guidelines that got me well. So, that's the only kind of lyme doc I recommend.

Burrascano type lyme docs have gotten all of my friends well also--about 5 people. So, I have seen that protocol work over and over again.

IV is not a magic bullet by any means. Many can attest to that.

I and my friends all got well taking orals only. But, they were high dose combinations of antibiotics as you will find in the Burrascano Guidelines.

It isn't just meds either. The Burrascano protocol is a 4-pronged approach:

medications,
supplements,
diet,
and a certain type of exercise (1 hour of weight lifting every other day)

It takes all 4 prongs to get well. This is one complex disease. You have to kill the diseases (with meds) while you support the body (with supplements) and boost the immune system (with exercise). The diet is essential so that you don't get intestinal yeast as a side effect of the high dose antibiotic combos.

Nope, I'd travel to the west coast to Dr K. But I'm one that abx failed and I wouldn't waste time, money to go anywhere but west. Well if I had money to spare????

Not to say something couldn't change tomorrow and I had to go somewhere, I'd go back to Missouri. I'd need to inherit money or win the big one to travel with that type expense, across the country.

I need to play the lottery to win it, don't I?
oh well

Missouri is nice. I so enjoyed the scenery driving through that beautiful state. But one way 8 hr trip is so hard physically and the wallet hurts too.

But I'm hitting the big one this weekend and can fly into Missouri. Rent a car and see the Ozarks.

I didn't do sighting seeing but the city 9-10 yrs ago. Don't like the woods. Too many enemies. I see ticks.
