Hi, I am arranging to see a dr in Conneticut, however I live in the UK so need somewhere affordable to stay for a month or so while I am having treatment. Can anyone suggest a motel etc in the Hartford area, or somewhere nearby that might be suitable? I would be really grateful-thank you!

One option is the Hilton Garden Inn. It is probably 3 miles to Dr. M's office and is located at: 85 Glastonbury Boulevard Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA, 06033 1-860-659-1025
The Hilton has a long term stay arrangement but I've never used it.
Now I will try and come back to you as if its for a full month you may be able to rent an executive furnished condo at Georgetown Village. Not sure if they are still doing this but they used to have some.
This is also around 3 miles to Dr. M's office (from a different direction).
These are probably the only two places in Glastonbury. Both are safe but Glastonbury is not inexpensive as its one of the more affluent suburbs of Hartford.
Maybe PM your # and I can call and discuss this with you (I'm in work early as I have clients in the UK).
