i am very sick 24 years after confirmed tick bites in florida. i live 2 hours north of toronto ontario. there is a dr shortage here. my family dr is making me sicker because he does not follow anything i tell him, proof or not. i am an active gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling coach. entry into the er days ago has completely changed my life. this lyme has gotten so bad, drs refuse to treat properly and im facing the very real poosibility of losing my business, my career and my home since all depend on physical fitness. my liver is enlarged and im in such physical pain i am now looking at suing the drs for knowingly ignoring my proof and allowing me to get so sick my life is pretty well over. i am desperately seeking a dr who is knowledgeable enough to get me even half well so i may continue my physical chores and obligations. i have 4 children to raise as a single parent also and them being adults is a long way off!! OH, I just saw you have two posts here. I hope people have been able to give you referrals. You're always welcome to discuss anything in Medical Questions or General Support. It will get better once you start getting some treatment.
