Hello!

I was bit by a tick early June of this year. When I pulled the tick out it was full of blood and popped, so I couldn't save it to have it tested and I am unsure of how long it was there or where I got it. I went and got the "preventative" antibiotic right away and soon forgot about it as the site slowly faded to what seemed like a scar.

It is now early September, a week or so ago the site of the tick bite became inflammed and very itchy. Also, I have noticed over the course of the past month or so that I have been unreasonably tired considering I get the proper amount of rest each night and am an active college student. Other strange symptoms have been occuring but I am unsure whether they are related or not.

I would like to be tested for lyme disease but I am aware that most times a test for Lyme comes up negative and because most doctors are not particularly educated about Lyme, it often goes mistreated. So now I am very scared and desperately searching for a specialist who can help diagnose and treat me for Lyme. Please let me know if you can offer me any information.

Thank you!
