Hello,

I just read your instructions on what to post, so forgive me.

Its been 8 weeks since I was diagnosed with Lyme's in NJ. Am seeing infect disease doc. Am willing to go to NYC or CT if necessary.

Was hospitalized for 5 days at onset with IV antibiotics. Initial and most recent Western Blot were negative. Have not done PCR and other tests as not covered by insurance.

Have been on treatment for almost 8 weeks straight. Started on doxy and now on ceftin.

I continue to have fatigue, brain fog, body aches, lethargic, low energy. Earlier in treatment I had recurring fevers. In the past few weeks, have felt feverish but cannot say it was a fever, as did not measure.

I need to determine if in fact I have been accurately diagnosed, do I have Lyme's, and what is my course of treatment at this stage. I am not confident that this doc has all the up to date info on Lymes.

I appreciate any referrals you can provide.

Many thanks
