My daughter is 11 and was diagnosed with chronic Lyme by her primary care physician after we spent several years chasing different avenues that would turn us around with no diagnosis. we did recieve help by someone very educated with Lyme and they helped our doctor do the right testing. Sure enough it came back reporting Lyme. Our doctor doesn't know enough about it and he won't treat it . We believe she has had it for 4 years now. She is now having difficult reading and is not wanting to go to school. Every day is a new challenge. Please help us find someone quickly. We are waiting to see someone in conn. but it is a six month wait. She can't wait that long.

Please consider joining your own state group in the LymeDisease.org network. Many groups are sizable enough to offer quite a bit of help. Go to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme to find how to find your group.
