Hi -
I was relieved to come across this site.
I have been having symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, change in vision, aches and pains at times, and tingling for the past 2.5 months. So severe at times that I cant go to work, the longest was one straight week, not great when I just started a new job 3 months ago.
Ive been to my General Practitioner twice, my Eye Dr three times, a neurologist (two in fact), an opto neurologist, tomorrow I go to an ENT. Ive gotten two MRI's, multiple kinds of eye tests and I go mid Feb for a slew of neurology tests. I got blood work taken and Lymes came back negative, of course.
Nothing is showing yet, I have no lesions on my brain but the doctors seem to be hinting more and more to a diagnose of MS. I'm told that the tests that I take in mid Feb are what will really test if I have MS. Im extremely unhappy with the care I have been receiving and it doesn't help emotionally when you cant figure out whats wrong with you and even your doctors don't seem to care.
I grew up on a small island where ticks are in abundance, I read that LD can stay dormant until triggered by something such as corticosteroids. Well guess what I had mid-October (2 weeks prior to my symptoms starting), a shot for back pain.

Can someone please tell me if there is a LLD in New York? I currently live on Long Island and work in New York City, so a LLMD in either place would be terrific.

Thank you,
frb
