My husband has had Lyme (or something) for 3 years. It has taken that long to get a diagnosis. He had a positive band on the test but not enough for a CDC lyme confirmation. He is SOOOOOOOOO fatigued and his knee is so bad. We have been seeing a LLMD but have had no luck with oral abx. He has been taking just one abx at a time which I thought was strange after reading other people's info of taking mutiple medications. Anyway the LLMD I believe may be out of ideas. We were interested in osteopathic physician, Dr. B, in TN. Unfortunately he is booked until April. We are pretty sure that we will have to go to the Northeastern part of the US to get any serious help. I guess I'm looking for someone who does conventional and alternative practices. At this point, I do not know what to do anymore! Thanks for your help.
Please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
