I am looking for a doctor who specializes in Lyme disease in NJ, within 25 miles of Marlboro in Central NJ.

Also is there a reliable test for detecting lyme disease? Thanks.

You need to get tested through IGENEX Labs in Palo Alto, CA, tests # 188 & 189.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NewJerseylyme

Maybe they can help you find a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD).

These Lyme disease organizations give doctor referrals:
www.ilads.org
www.lymediseaseassociation.org

Once you have some names, post in "Seeking a Doctor" to ask for personal references. This way, you will find the right doctor who will provide the correct treatment.
