Hello, I am looking for an LLMD in Florida. I am in Jacksonville, but can travel if necessary.

I am originally from Long Island, NY so going there, if necessary, is possible as well.

Thank you in advance

The only one I recommend in Florida is in Tampa. Do you want that name?

I don't recommend any on Long Island.

I recommend a doc in Washington D.C. This doc will do monthly telephone appointments after the first in person appt., so you would only have to travel once or twice per year. Do you want that name? Comes very highly recommended.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups/yahoo.com/group/Floridalyme

Maybe they can help you.

Some more resources:

Once you have some names, write a new post in "Seeking a Doctor" to ask for personal references. This way, you will find the right doctor to give you the correct treatment.
