Female 54 yrs diagnosed w Rocky Mountain spotted fever when I was 29. No apparent complications at the time, but now I am connecting a few dots over this long period of time. My constant joint pain I thought was due to overuse as I was a professional dancer till age 40. My first total hip replacement was 2 yrs ago the second is scheduled for next month. I do have tingling in both legs at night. I only notice it when I lie flat. The most dramatic symptoms at the moment are related to my vision. I have seen the retinal specialist but didn't think to tell him about my diagnosis from years ago, but certainly will. I have no tears in the retina, both eyes are affected. Might be premature aging, however I want to check out the possible correlations with an LLMD. Many thanks

I don't know of any.

Check the online state Lyme groups at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Texaslyme

Maybe they can help you.

Some more resources for you:
www.txlda.org
www.lyme-aware.org
www.ilads.org
www.lymediseaseassociation.org

Once you get some names, write a new post in "Seeking a Doctor" to ask for personal references. This way, you will find the right doctor to give you the correct treatment.

BTW - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
