Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Z in northern VA?

I'm currently treating with Dr. S in NOVA and have made some progress over the past two years but I need to find someone with knowledge in treating aggressively for parasites.

I was told that Dr. Z has done research in the area of parasitic infections and considers parasite treatment as important as for Lyme/cos. but I was hoping to get more input before making a decision.

It's scary to think of switching Drs after all of this time. I think of my Dr. as a life line, even if I havent been completely satisfied. Also I will have to pay the initial hefty fee to see her, which isn't an issue if it's worth it.

Based on patient reports that I have, I think there are better doctors than Z. I suggest you go to the doc faithful goes to. I don't think you will be disappointed.

You could first email the office and ask if the doctor aggressively treats parasites. Then, based on the reply, decide what to do.

Dr. Z does not follow the Burrascano protocol.

If you want the info I have on her, let me know.

Sounds like Dr. Z isn't the right fit for me. I will email faithful's Dr. with my inquiry. Thank you both.

Dr Z gave a presentation at the recent LDA conference, I think the docs heart is in the right place, but I would have to admit that I was very skeptical of the claimed success rate.

The doc does seem to treat hormones and other issues and not just tickborne diseases.
