My husband has chronic lyme and has for many years. 6 years ago doctor in NY recommended intravenous antiobotics Oxford denied it and said we needed to find doctor in ct since then he has seen numerous neurologists and other doctors and had enough tests that Connecticare - our insurance now - has probably paid more than the intravenous would have cost! At this point he is unable to function - severe headaches 24/7, insomnia, drastic mood swings, unable to focus on anything,.... all the doctors we have found that specialize in lyme do not take our insurance - would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
