No LLMD in the entire state (one across the river in WA, though). No MD will openly discuss lyme. A very lyme-hostile state. Official motto: "There is no lyme in Oregon" - it's just not true, though, so do hold onto your hat and connect with those who have found how to move forward.

However, there are several ILADS educated LL NDs (naturopathic doctors), 3 in Portland.

PM just sent to you. Be sure you are logged on in so you can access your messages.

Lyme Disease in Oregon

The Kaiser Papers - not by or from Kaiser Insurance but about how they deal with lyme inquiries

Also gives background regarding lack of lyme assessment / treatment in general, regardless of one's insurance coverage.

Other than consulting with the LL NDs here, many go out of state for treatment with a LLMD. From Portland, the Seattle area offers some good choices. If you happen to have friends or family in California, that may work, too.

Just zipper in the state name where you seek a LL doctor. To join for discussion, best to join in your own state.
