I live in Huntsville, Al and desperately need a doctor that will at least try to figure out what is wrong with me. I have been very ill ever since I had a classic Lyme reaction. Doctors down here have no idea what that even is. I am now completely disabled and most often in a wheelchair. I believe I am suffering with chronic Lyme. Even though the docs have given me several diagnosis ( fibromyalsia, CFS, CPS, etc ) and nothing they have tried has worked, they just laugh at us when we mention Lyme, and say lyme does not exist in alabama. Please help!

mykidsbark, I am sorry you are so sick. Unfortunately, there are no good Lyme doctors in the states you list.
Is there any way you can travel further to see a knowledgeable doctor?

Read the book, Cure Unknown", by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
View the DVD, "Under Our Skin", for free on www.hulu.com
Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
