I sent you a name and some info. I hope the doctor I recommended will take a Medicare patient. In my area, most will not.

Very, very few lyme doctors take insurance. So, be prepared to pay out of pocket for good lyme treatment.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for FL.

I don't think the LLMDs take Medicare insurance, unfortunately.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/floridalyme

Maybe they can help you.

Another resource for you:
www.lyme-aware.org/florida.html

Dr. H, the top Lyme doctor, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
