My friend is 20 years old and has been suffering from Lyme symptoms for 2 years now before being diagnosed. She has tried to schedule appointments with two Lyme doctors and neither one can take her on for several months.

We want to get her treated as soon as possible, so we are willing to travel if it means getting an earlier appointment. If you guys know of any LLMD's in Tennessee or the surrounding states please let me know!

Thank you so much for your help!

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for VA & MO.

I don't know of any LLMDs in TN, and those who do say there aren't any good ones.

Here is a link from Lymenet about TN doctors:

When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/statenamelyme

Maybe they can help you.

Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.

The top Lyme doctor, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.
