This is lymewreck36. It's probably been 1 1/2 since I posted, and I can't even believe that.

I've been put in touch through a friend with someone who has lyme, perhaps a new case, perhaps a repeated infection. She is unemployed and has no insurance.

Where near Atlanta can she find a decent llmd. ILADS sent her a doc name in Tennessee, but that is out of the question too far for her. She's really on her own.

I live in North Carolina, so I'm no help to her, accept in helping her navigate the lyme world.

Guys have any advice on a doc near Atlanta? Would so much appreciate it.

I've sent her links to financial support after talking to Igenex on the phone and looking up Georgia drug assistance programs.

Thanks Lymetutu. Been awhile since we posted together. I don't live in Switzerland anymore. Relocated to the U.S. in December.

Does she use Facebook? There is a local group where she can post questions.

I would not recommend any doctor in Tennessee to treat Lyme.
