This is lymewreck36. It's probably been 1 1/2 since I posted, and I can't even believe that.
I've been put in touch through a friend with someone who has lyme, perhaps a new case, perhaps a repeated infection. She is unemployed and has no insurance.
Where near Atlanta can she find a decent llmd. ILADS sent her a doc name in Tennessee, but that is out of the question too far for her. She's really on her own.
I live in North Carolina, so I'm no help to her, accept in helping her navigate the lyme world.
Guys have any advice on a doc near Atlanta? Would so much appreciate it.
I've sent her links to financial support after talking to Igenex on the phone and looking up Georgia drug assistance programs.

I would not recommend any doctor in Tennessee to treat Lyme.
