Does anyone have any lyme literate doctors around Cleveland Ohio?? I also have hashimoto's disease (autoimmune) and have had this rash that doctors think might be lyme but since I don't have the classic "bullseye" rash….mainstream docs won't listen..especially at Cleveland Clinic…don't even get me started on them!!!

My son did not have the classic bull's eye rash either. He has been ill for fourteen years now!

I was told Cleveland Clinic is not Lyme-literate and has no LLMD on board, just like Mayo (believe it or not!). Stay away from them!

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!

Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.

Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.
