I have all the symptoms of lymes and its getting unbearable. I don't know where to go or who to talk to. I desire to get blood work done and seek treatment. I live in Fayette county Georgia.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
None in GA. They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":

You can also see Support Groups on the left side of the page. One lyme support group is listed for Georgia.
You can contact lyme support groups in other nearby states also. Talk to as many as possible. Find out where people are getting help in your area. Find out who the best doctors are.
In my over 13 years of being around this disease, I have found that there are few lyme doctors south of Washington, D.C. and few to no top notch doctors south of D.C.
So, those in the southeast often travel to the D.C. area for good care.
If you are willing to do that, write to me privately and I can give you the name of a doctor who can see you in 2 weeks. (Generally, the wait to see a good doctor is 3-6-9 months. And, the top lyme doctors are often not taking any new patients.) I will also give lots of info on the doctor including cost.
You can do telephone or skype appointments after the first in-person appointment. This is how lyme treatment is given to large portions of the nation due to the small number of lyme literate MDs (LLMD).
Just click on the envelope icon above my post to write to me privately for the doctor's name.
Welcome to LymeNet! Good for you for asking for a doctor here.
If you have not yet read the Burrascano Lyme Treatment Guidelines, I strongly suggest that you do so. This document will give you your education on this disease. This is a MUST so that you understand what is going on.
It is not an easy read because it was written to doctors to teach them how to treat lyme disease.
It is located at the top of the Medical Questions forum. It is also located at the ILADS (lyme doctors association) website here:
