I believe I have chronic Lyme disease. Someone from a Lyme disease support group recommended an LLMD in TN, and I have appt. with him 9/24, but I don't know if he's good. I also make $15,000 a year and am single, so if you know of anyone who is very good and on the more reasonable side, cost-wise, that would be great. If not, that's ok.
I don't believe anything has changed in the last year.
Good for you for finding LymeNet. I suggest you contact the lyme support groups in your state and other nearby states. See Support Groups on the left side of this page.
They can tell you about the doc you are going to see on 9/24 and they can tell you where folks are going to get good lyme treatment.
We will help you here all we can.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent with some suggestions. I don't know of any in TN.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
The Lyme Disease Network is a non-profit organization funded by individual donations. If you would like to support the Network and the LymeNet system of Web services, please send your donations to:
