You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Lyme Disease can cause psych problems, because the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria which cause Lyme cross the blood-brain barrier. I don't know of any LL Psychiatrists in MT, but treatment by a good LLMD will help.
Here is a website with very good information about "Neuro-Cognitive Lyme Disease":

Good morning 13,
If you go to this site linked below- children with Lyme site- and check on the Doctor Referral page (menu on the left), you'll find a list of health care professionals, along with their town/state location and contact information.
