I live in FL and am willing to travel to see an LLMD, but would like to find one that allows some remote (skype, phone etc) appointments, and who is somewhat affordable. I had Lyme for many years and now my husband does, but we are not in a financial position to be able to afford the wonderful doctor who treated me. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hey AB,
So sorry to hear about your situation.
If you go to www.FloridaLyme.org and look under "Doctor Referrals" (menu to your left) you will find a site with doctor's contact information for the entire USA, including information on alternative doctors, labs and support groups.
AND, you are in luck! I just tonight added some Skype and phone consult info to some of the doctors listings.
If you type in the word Skype or phone in the upper right side search bar it should bring up some results. Not many yet, still collecting that kind of info, but it may be of help to you and yours.
