We are in the western suburbs of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Searching for a doctor for my daughter that is knowledgeable in the co-infections of Lyme, particularly Bartonella. Thank you.

How old is your daughter? We need to know, because not all Lyme-literate doctors treat children, some only adults, while others do treat both.

Your daughter needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. She needs to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and his new one, "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check the local library or buy it used on Amazon.

So sorry to hear your "little girl" is sick! Good mom for reaching out to help her. Moms can save lives... I know.
Another option so you can expand your search if needed...
You can go to www.MarylandLyme.org and look at the menu to your left you will see "DOCTOR REFERRALS".
Click there to find the names and contact information for health care professionals who are treating Lyme & TBD's in all of the states.
Here is a list of tick borne diseases (Bartonella included) with how to diagnose (testing), a list of symptoms for each disease and basic treatment information.
