Diagnosed 15 years ago. Treated within a month. Still battling numerous debilitating issues. Plaquenil has "helped". Steroid injections for "joint" issues have occasionally helped systemically (dramatically, albeit briefly). Brief IV antibiotics for an "unrelated issue" helped dramatically, for a lengthy period of time. Looking for a LLD in or near Connecticut...

Welcome to lymenet DaveD

You need an LLMD to access all of your medical issues.
Good LLMD's are notorious for being through, 1st appointments generally last over 3 hours ! Very common.

Here are support groups in your state that you can request LLMD's names:

You must research each Doctor and get the best.
Support groups have first-hand knowledge on each doctor's
treatment protocols and success rates.

Also, utilize lymenet's search engine. Loaded with valuable information on Tick Born Infections. Feel free to post any questions you might encounter on your wellness journey. Lymenet members saved my life and many, many others.

Sent you a private message.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

Also, you must read this,

http://www.lymenet.org/BurrGuide200810.pdf

It is the gold standard for Lyme treatment.
Study it.
It offers different antibiotic choices, supplements, diet changes, exercise (mandatory), testing, co-infections, ect.

You will get better if your LLMD follows these guidelines.
