I have chronic neuro lyme and am going to be seeing Dr W in TX mid January. I went ahead and had my two boys tested as I've had these symptoms since before I had them.

They both came back positive on the tests.....
One is Autistic (asperger's with major behavior problems) the other has Apraxia of speech and motor skill delays.

They are 6 and 3 1/2.

I am hoping to find a good LLMD that treats children, as I suspect some of their other problems are contributed to by the Lyme. They have never been bit, so I know it was passed congenitally.

I prefer TX, but I have already done a lot of searching and can't find one in state, so we will travel if it's the best for them.

Thank you in advance for any advice and help!

Welcome to LymeNet!

If you go to www.MarylandLyme.org you will see a DOCTOR REFERRAL page on the menu to your left. Listings are by State.

If you type in the word "children" in the search bar it may narrow down the search some.

Hope that helps!
