I’m moving back to Suffolk after a long time out of the area, and need to find an LLMD here. I have long-standing chronic Lyme that has been under pretty good control with supplements. But things are beginning to deteriorate and I need to look at additional options.

Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but you should not use your real name, because this is a public forum with all sorts of people on it. Read this link about it:

I assume this is a boilerplate message sent to anyone after their first post? I'm sorry, but it isn't relevant to my question. I'm very familiar with Lyme, with the current lack of medical care and with what an LLMD is. In fact, I frequently advise on Lyme treatment in other forums. I've been treated by one of the LLMD's listed in the pm, and it was fully covered by my insurance. My need is to find a doctor in the Hampton Roads area, now that I'm about to move back here. None of those listed in the pm is within five hours of Hampton Roads.
Btw, I did not use my real name and have no reason to change my login name.

Just trying to help - no need to be snippy! "Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul." Proverbs 16:24
I am not from VA and do not know where the Hampton Roads area is. I also have no idea if posters are using their real name or not!

Wow you sound like a gem helenwilson I bet you make alot of friends whenever those who are fortunate enough, are in your shiny presence.
You owe Hopingandpraying an apology for not being the best we know you are capable of being.
Your need of finding a LLMD does not trump being respectful and appreciative of a generous soul who was trying to help you.
