i know i already asked this in medical but my lyme brain can't find it.

i really have no insurance right now, because i've never worked a longterm, steady job (just out of college a year ago). does anyone know of any individual insurance plans that would cover someone with a preexisting condition like lyme? at the moment i have BCBS temporary insurance, but i don't know if extending it is an option.

any ideas?

thanks.

Most states offer a high risk pool to people who cannot get health insurance.

Almost all the states offer insurance to people coming off of COBRA. However, some states have waiting lists.

The costs vary. In my state the cost is less 1/2 of what COBRA is with the same coverage.

Here is a link that shows all the states:

I don't have an answer either. I would look up health insurance on the internet. Good luck!

If you go to the government site for your state,(which you can find by going to google.com and putting in your state name) you can find your way to the people who handle insurance in your state. They will know about all different kinds of insurance and how to go about getting coverage.

Good luck!
