As I sat in bed with a heating pad on my aching back, shoulder, neck and reading from my pile of Lyme research.....what do I hear, but a woman from the North Shore (Ipswich) talking about her ordeal with Lyme.

I nearly fell out of bed!!

I don't know if she belongs to this group or not but great job if she does. She was able to hit on some key points in such a short time!

Here is the link to the information related to the story that is posted on ABCs web site.
Kind of basic and they link to CDC, but it's a start!!!

I'm going to figure out who to write to and thank them and offer some more information.

Here is the link to contact them. I'm not sure who to send the comments to in the drop down list but maybe we could all send it to the news management and copy it before you submit and then send it to Dr. Timothy Johnson as well.

DJP,

Found it! If you go to:
http://www.thebostonchannel.com/newscenter5/index.html

On the right side is a "contact us"area!

You can also go to "Commentary on today's top stories" We need to hit that too!
http://www.thebostonchannel.com/opinion/index.html

I wish we could email Dr. Timothy Johnson with ABC. I'm going to look for him!

Linda

Linda,

You can choose his name from the drop down box on the right hand side of the page.
http://www.thebostonchannel.com/station/index.html

Thanks for contacting them. I won't have time until later today, but I will definately do it.

I think I will also write to NBC, Fox and any other local channels.

DJP,

If there are a couple of messages from me it is operator error!

I sent a letter to Dr. Timothy Johnson and asked him to report on mothers giving their children LD through placenta or breastmilk.

I'm dizzy today and have to work till 4:30--and i need to send one more LD letter (I try to send two a day)--I wonder if Rose sent anything interesting--I need to go find my next victim!

DJP,

If you will send me FOX and NBC's URL than I will tag team them with you on a letter.

Thanks,
Linda

I had an email asking people on our list to email Tim Johnson, thanking him and telling him our stories in hopes of encouraging them to do even more! I just did...

As it's the Boston media people are talking to, and as Mark Klempner has been a hot topic in the Boston news for weeks since the coverup of the escape of tularemia (a deadly tick-borne disease) at his biowar super-lab was exposed, why not mention that Klempner is also known to us Lymies, and that his flawed and dishonest study on the alleged uselessness of long-term abx has condemned thousands of Lyme patients to a living death?

Just a thought.
