Do these have a high built in arch support??
My ugly summer shoes have been discontinued. They were by Okabashi. You find them real cheap in drug stores etc. All the rest of their shoes only have a moderately high arch and I can feel my arch tear as I walk.
These worked cuz they were slide on so my uneven feet could each rest on the arch where it wanted too. Sneakers etc the arch always hits one foot in the wrong place. Im soooo special!!!!!!!!
Birkenstock dont match my foot at all either. Im so upset by this setback. I used these as slippers too.

I'm looking at my daughters and they don't appear to have a high arch support.
A lot of the vitamin stores in CO sell them and maybe you could try before you buy. They seem to be pretty cushy on the bottom and my daughter who has lyme says there comfortable.

Yes they have built in orthotics! Which are great for flat feet. And achey LYME feet. But like Snowboarder said try them on 1st to make sure they fit your feet.

Okabashi no longer makes the shoe that worked for me. It was the MagnePlus or something like that. It had a very high built in arch and 2 magnets.
They only have size small left in stock so if you are size 6 or under your in luck.
Yesterday I talked to them again and even asked if they would consider a special order if I bought 20 or so. She was very nice but said it would have to be in the thousands in order for that to happen.
Anyone want to share an order??? Shucks, I dont think I will live long enough to use up that many ugly shoes. Imalda would not approve of me!!!!

I found them on the website. Is the sale price lower than $16.99? I don't really like clogs, but if they're narrow enough, I may be able to keep them on my feet.

I dont know about the sale price. You live in a warmer climate so look at the web site and see what stores carry them around you and you may still be able to get them locally.
They are usually carried in cheap discount stores.
I wore the discontinued sandles, never tried the cloge. Im going to call them back on monday and talk about them.
If need be I could cut the toe out. My middle toe is longer than all the others so closed shoes I often have to go a size larger and then they are too big everwhere else.
Ive often thought about cutting up an old leather purse and gluing it onto my sandles so they look better. Never did it. I could do something like that if I had to cut out the toe.
I live in the northeast and they are only in one drug store for a very short time in early summer and are usually under $10 on sale for the sandles.

I had a pair of clogs I also have had high arches since small runt.. I can not wear any boots since they dont allow for high arches mine will never fit into the boot high arch prevents this... I am trying for the life of me to remember what name I used to use...I have reduced my wear to sandles more recently since they slip on and dont require a place for arches to fit into...
I used to go bare foot when I was younger it was easier than finding a pair of comfortable shoes to wear... now I need to wear something.. If I recall which ones were a great fit I will send you a PM..
I have found that there is a shoe that does fit my arches SAS makes them they arent cheap but they work well.
the natuarlizer shoe store found a couple that worked for me when I had a job where I had to stand in one spot for 10-12 hours a day... I know they are up north so you might want to find out if they can provide you a CRoc shoe .. in this capacity.. they also have a podaitrist at the stores ..
not sure I have helped much but I tried..

FYI Okabashi Magne Plus clogs I just called them and they said the clog does not have the same molded sole as the discountinued sandle.
The arch support is not near as high on the clog as on the sandle.
Im going to keep using my 3 dying pair of sandles and wait till spring and then rush to the store and try the Sport sandle and see if that arch is high enough.
