Hi, My daugther is having some trouble with her picc line which is been in for a month. IV abx are helping, but itchiness is horrible after 5 different dressing types. The line is slipping out, so dealing with this is the mini-crisis I am sure it will work out after a bunch of rigamoroll of the day. Sensitive stomach, so cannot get good dose of orals in. Has anyone had a teen do bicillan shots? Not thrilled abouy prospect of reinserting line it was really painful last time. Of course, may not hurt this time... Everytime we figure out best thing to do, it changes and another decision! Sorry so long! So question is can teens do bicillin and is this even something worthy of consideration? Thanks for listening, Char
