Have you ever heard of the book "The Long Walk?" Sometimes I think that is analogous to our situation. Here is what amazon reviews say:
Amazon.com Cavalry officer Slavomir Rawicz was captured by the Red Army in 1939 during the German-Soviet partition of Poland and was sent to the Siberian Gulag along with other captive Poles, Finns, Ukranians, Czechs, Greeks, and even a few English, French, and American unfortunates who had been caught up in the fighting. A year later, he and six comrades from various countries escaped from a labor camp in Yakutsk and made their way, on foot, thousands of miles south to British India, where Rawicz reenlisted in the Polish army and fought against the Germans. Tree, I completely understand. My SO now has pneumonia, which makes me the healthy one in the house (actually, the dog has that distinction but can't cook worth a da*n!)
Venting's a great idea. Or just some time someplace away from all the holiday stuff.

Yes, I hear you. PAMPER yourself with whatever pleases you and you enjoy .. not pamper diapers but that would save me many pee trips during my bedtime hours. LOL.
Seriously, are you & wife able to get away from home for a little while?
Take a break from here too. TAKE CARE OF YOU as no one else will but your wonderful, supportive wife!

Thanks everybody your all Great! Iam just overwhelmed and tired of taking care of everything at home and owrk and just everything .
I feel a little better today though. Iam sitting in the reading room {on throne} :)at 5:40am this morning and reading lastnights paper because I didnt have a chance well theres a articalby a lady about 15 miles away shes describing her sons problem with aches pain, pains in joints & problems well you know the story and I wasnt going to call her but at 7am at work I called her and gave her lots of info anyway her sons symptoms 21 off Dr b's list he has. Shes seen specialists after sp sp syndromes,latest is ehler danlos syndrome!
Oh after all the talking we did did I tell you she was bitten by a tick too! but of coarse shes cured she developed a rash and they treated it for a month.
She had a big fibroid tumor removed not to long ago and her husband had heart worked on? They live & play in the woods.
Anyway I gave her my Dr name geeze this just keeps getting better huh?
