During my critical years prior to diagnosis I spent most of my time on the internet searching for answers. I kept thinking I had lyme disease and scoured the internet but only found inaccurate information. Information I believed to be gospel.
I consider myself fairly intelligent and resourceful but the truth about lyme disease is almost impossible to find unless you know the correct lingo to use in your search. You need to use the term llmd to turn up accurate information.
Why is lymenet so hard to find? Are there some keywords we could use to put lymenet closer to the top of a google search?
Just wondering, Miss

I can't understand why you can't find Lymenet on Google.
This is what comes up when you go to www.google.com: using "Lyme disease" Lymenet is #5 on the list. LDA is 1st and 3rd, i believe.
If you go for "Lymenet," you get as #1

I was able to find this site with absolutely NO prior knowledge about Lyme Disease.
I think I used a google search to do it.
There are certainly sites that promote the CDC type of Lyme profile, but I was fortunate to turn up this site and Canada Lyme as some of my first points of information.
Glad you were able to finally find us!

lymenet is on the first page of the google list. NOW, what some people MAY NOT know is that that list is compiled by how often the sites are visited.
Lymenet may not have been visited as much five or nine years ago when you were looking for GOOD info ( and correct ) on lyme.
The more a page is used, the more to the TOp it will move.

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. I typed lyme disease into google and it was the 5th website to come up! Hmmmmmm. I suppose the outcome of the search depends on how often the site is visited at various times. Thanks for your responses.
