This is my first post and I can't spend too long on the computer so, if permissable, could you please email me at [email protected] if you can assist. Thanks
I was diagnosed by Bowen Labs in FL with chronic borrelia and babesia and 2 years later cannot get treated in Australia. Overseas diagnoses are not acceptable and only acute Lyme seems to be tested here. Private clinic treatment is possible (for an entire year's income in my case!). My doctor is willing to go the extra mile but we have run out of alternatives.
I travel poorly due to other medical problems so long journeys are not possible. I need something my local doctor can do to treat chronic Lyme/babesia. Any (reasonable) suggestions?
On the subject of "reasonable" is there a general consensus regarding the Lymephoto's salt and vitamin C treatment? Feedback has been contradictory, ranging from strong recommendation to "unscientific and potentially harmful nonsense". If the general consensus is that salt and C is either helpful or inappropriate I would be pleased to have this confirmed.
Sorry this is so long!
Many thanks in advance for your help. I look forward to your email.

Steve, your post was fine; don't worry about length; just keep the paragraphs short to 6-8 lines of text and DOUBLE space for us neuro folks, ok! Happy to help you out.
See this other Aussie post, and check LEFT hand side for support groups; someone said there is an AUSTRALIA support group listed.
Print off the links then check them off as you read as you could spend several months reading all of this.
print & read Dr. Barrascono's 2005 info first; you will come back to this often.
Also, see Cheryl's extensive web sites on: LD DIAGNOSIS, SYMPTOMS, & TREATMENT ... wonderful! Read the area on CO-INFECTIONS! You could have from 1-12 other illnesses that tick is carrying...lyme, malaria, etc.
If you are showing symptoms of co-infections, I would like to suggest being tested for co-infections when you have LYME western blots done. It isn't cheap!! But if you are positive, you can treat the co-infections first, and then work on LYME symptoms.
